Holding On to the Sides
I'm certain there are many things in the everyday life of anyone that can be labeled scary. I wonder sometimes if living the scary life isn't the most difficult thing to do. When I meet anyone who understands how scary life can be I know I've met a kindred soul who has seen their own challenges. It goes without saying the beating heart the palms & soles of perspiration are but the more outward indicators of how scary life is today. How it turns out may be determined by holding on and bracing for the ride.
About those feet the correct spelling is soles, not soul, as in a kindred soull :-\
ReplyDeleteI think the only way to really live life is to let go of the sides. I think of those people in the front car of the scariest roller coaster. They always seem to have had the most fun. Those who lift their arms in the air during the ride.
ReplyDeleteI've missed the ride & landed as passengers in the fist seat. The view is overrated & can be appreciated after its over and the ride ends.
DeleteWell safety comes first some of those that let go of the sides end up on the other side. :O
